About Our Ministries
Children & Youth
At St. Luke we have growing, busy, active Children and Youth Ministries. We meet weekly for Sunday School, invite children of all ages to participate in Worship services, gather on Wednesdays for Confirmation and upper high school youth group activities. We understand that part of the promise we make at Baptism is to help one and other raise our children in the Christian faith and our ministries support that.
Our Children and Youth Ministries are led by volunteers with the support of our Pastor. If you're interested in helping kids grow in faith please contact the office and we'll help you get connected and take the necessary steps to make sure every volunteer is in a ministry that fits their gifts.
We are a Safeguarding God's Children Congregation. This means all of our Children and Youth Ministry volunteers participate in background checks and meet basic requirements for working in ministry with children and youth.
Please contact our Pastor with questions.
Adults
At St. Luke we have many opportunities for adults to be a part of our ministry such as offering counters, ushers, communion assistant, Sunday school teachers/helpers, special music, prayer readers, coffee fellowship, successful confirmation classes, youth events, Bible studies, etc.
Everything we do as the body of Christ requires the time of our congregation. Gifts of time are essential to the congregation’s life. Without member’s sharing their time and abilities we would not have these great ministries!
Please contact our Pastor with questions or to become a part of a team.
